Our Summary

To compare the effects of microtubule polymerization and structure on brain and sperm exposed to extremely low-frequency electromagnetic field (ELEF) is the objective of this study. Adult male rats were divided into a ELEF group and a control group. Results showed that sperm viability and microtubule polymerization was significantly higher in the ELEF group compared to the control while improvements on secondary and tertiary structures of tubulins was also recorded for the ELEF group.3
