Anti-proliferative effect of extremely low frequency electromagnetic field on preneoplastic lesions formation in the rat liver

Our Summary

Previous studies show that extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields (ELF-EMF) exhibited beneficial effects on human health. This study now aims to investigate the effects of ELF-EMF on preneoplastic lesions in hepatocarcinogenesis. Rats were exposed to 120 Hz frequency and 4.5 mT intensity ELF-EMF. Findings suggest that the exposures inhibit preneoplastic lesions development by reducing cell proliferation.
