Our Summary

The effects of PEMF on limb function and pain for patients with immobilization casted distal radius fracture is the main objective of this study. A total of 52 patients were divided into a control group and an experimental group that received PEMF treatment. Findings shows lower pain levels and better mobility of upper limb joints by the 3rd and 6th week of treatment. In conclusion, PEMF has beneficial effects for pain, sensation, mobility and function for patients recovering from cast immobilization of distal radius fractures.
