Comparison of Shoulder Management Strategies after Stage I of Fingertip Skin Defect Repair with a Random-Pattern Abdominal Skin Flap

Our Summary

This study aims to compare the effects of different treatments, including PEMF on shoulder management following a stage I of fingertip reconstruction. There were 29 patients who performed passive exercise, 30 who performed active exercise while 32 performed active exercise and received PEMF treatment. Results were evident that the combination of PEMF and active exercise reported improved outcomes in pain relief including sign and symptoms.
