Design of a randomized controlled trial on the effect on return to work with coaching plus light therapy and pulsed electromagnetic field therapy for workers with work-related chronic stress

Our Summary

Due to the chronic stress workers feel exhausted, often affecting their mental state, well-being and function as employees. This study aims to investigate the effects of combining coaching, light therapy and PEMF in reducing chronic stress for employees. A total of 90 employees experiencing chronic stress will be divided into 3 groups comprising of the intervention group, the placebo group and the control group. The intervention group will receive light and PEMF therapy, 40 mins, 2 times a week for 12 weeks.
