Our Summary

Due to the delays of drug delivery using antibiotics, this study focuses on the effects of PEMF on inflammatory markers tumor necrosis factor (TNF), the expression of the A20 and transcription factor nuclear factor kappa B (NFkB). Findings indicate that PEMF at 5 Hz frequency decreased TNF, NFkB and A20. In conclusion, this treatment could have positive effects in stimulating immune system response when infection arises.
