Our Summary

In a variety of therapeutic settings, including dentistry, a pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) has been proven to aid bone regeneration. For the study composed of 19 participants, a control group was given a sham healing cup whereas the PEMF group was given an activated miniature electromagnetic device (MED). The result strongly shows that during early stages of the healing period, PEMF could stimulate implant stability.
