Our Summary

The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of EMF on cell structure and function. Four kinds of cells were exposed to a sinusoidal, 60 Hz frequency and 2 mT intensity EMF. Results showed varying effects for the different cells. Cell proliferation was the most sensitive trait affected by PEMF while no significant changes were observed for cell cycle distribution, cell differentiation, and actin distribution.
