Our Summary

The purpose of this review is to examine the efficacy of Biophysical Energies (BPEs) on diabetic skin wound healing, specifically of diabetic foot ulcers. Bes include PEMF, photo energies and ultrasound (US), extracorporeal shockwave (ECSW), electrical stimulation (ES). Results demonstrate that the selected BPEs showed promise in treatment of diabetic wound management. Although further comprehensive studies need to be conducted.
