Our Summary

With EMF treatments being non-invasive and safe method in treating musculoskeletal diseases, this review aims to evaluate the effectiveness of EMF treatments including PEMF therapy in acute and chronic pain in the musculoskeletal disorders. Results show that PEMF with low intensity and frequency within 1-100 Hz range are deemed effective in resolving musculoskeletal pain with no side effects.
