Our Summary

This study aims to investigate the effects of PEMF and sinusoidal electromagnetic field (SEMF) on orthodontic tooth movement in rats. Three groups consisting of 18 rats were divided randomly to form a control group, PEMF group and SEMF group. Results show that both PEMF and SEMF had significant beneficial effects on rat orthodontic tooth movement.
