Our Summary

To know the effects of PEMF therapy on cartilage extracellular matrix and chondrocyte changes due to Osteoarthritis is the purpose of this study. Cultured bovine cartilage was exposed to PEMF with 75 Hz frequency and 1.5 mT intensity. Results suggests that PEMF treatment to preserve cartilage being affected by osteoarthritis.
