Our Summary

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of extremely low-frequency electromagnetic fields (ELF-EMF) on alopecia. Results showed that 10 G ELF-PEMF exposure enhanced proliferation of hDPC and expression of anagen-related molecules as well as a significant increase in ?-catenin and Wnt3? expression and GSK-3?/ERK/Akt phosphorylation, which indicates that the treatment may be an effective treatment for alopecia.
