Our Summary

To evaluate the effects of extremely low-frequency electromagnetic field therapy (ELF-EMF) on brain plasticity is the objective of this study. A total of 48 patients underwent the conventional rehabilitation process with half of the group receiving ELF-EMF exposure. Results were evident that ELF-EMF therapy improved the effects of the rehabilitation with increase in blood levels of growth factors in stroke patients compared to the control group.
