Our Summary

The aim of this study is to compare the effects of PEMF and low-level laser therapy (LLLT) in children with rhinosinusitis. There were a total of 30 children with chronic sinusitis from 6 – 13 years of age and divided equally into 2 groups with one receiving PEMF while the other LLLT. Findings suggest that both improved mucosal membrane thickness which can be deemed beneficial in symptom management in children with chronic rhinosinusitis while there were no significant difference between the 2 treatments.
