Our Summary

Due to the paradox of EMF having harmful effects to human health and is now being used for therapeutic tool for regenerative medicine, orthopedics neurology and even oncology, this study aims to investigate the effects of PEMF on mammalian cells. Results show that PEMF stimulates rapid accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) that can either be detrimental due to pathological effects or therapeutic depending on modulation and exposure.
