Our Summary

This review aims to evaluate studies on the effects of PEMF and extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) on tendon regeneration. Studies show that both PEMF and ESWT increases the expression of growth factors and synthesis of collagen I fibers which suggests the inherent efficacy of both treatments on for tendinopathy and tendon regeneration.
