Our Summary

Investigation of the effects of PEMF on bone metabolism and skeleton morphology on rats with disuse osteoporosis was the purpose of this study. Rats on one group was treated with alendronate while the other was exposed to PEMF with 3.82 mT intensity and 10 Hz frequency. Results showed that PEMF enhanced bone structure stability compared to alendronate.
