Our Summary

Due to the promising effectiveness of PEMF on bone and cartilage healing, this study focuses to evaluate the benefits of PEMF therapy on elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis. 33 patients received PEMF therapy on the right leg while the left leg was the control for 6 weeks. Findings suggest that PEMF improved function, stiffness and pain of elderly patients with osteoarthritis.
