Our Summary

Previous studies show that PEMF treatment stimulated bone healing for non-union or delayed union fractures but on better understanding of the overall efficacy is yet to be tackled and is the main purpose of this study. A total of 44 patients with tibial shaft delayed union or non-union were exposed to PEMF therapy. Findings show that PEMF stimulation significantly affects non-infected tibial union abnormalities.
