Our Summary

This study aims to evaluate the effects of PEMF on bone quality and osteoporotic bone microarchitecture on ovariectomized (OVX) rats. 15 rats was received 15 Hz frequency and 2.4 mT intensity PEMF while 15 rats were the control group for 10 weeks. Findings show that PEMF reduced bone deterioration and significantly improved bone architecture and mass which confirms the osteogenetic activity of PEMF.
