Our Summary

The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of extremely low frequency electromagnetic field (ELF-EMF) on mesenchymal stem cells (MSC). MSC were exposed to 50 Hz frequency and 20 mT intensity ELF-EMF together with zinc sulfate (ZnSO4) for 30 mins per day, for 21 days. Results suggest that ELF-EMF together with ZnSO4 increased TERT gene expression while reduced senescent cells, indicating the effects of ELF-EMF on senescence and cellular aging.
