Our Summary

Angiogenesis both have roles in health and disease which is the reason that it is given a lot of attention. The rationale of this study is to investigate the effects of combining EMF and glycyrrhizic acid on angiogenesis or formation of new blood vessels. A total of 44 chickens were divided into 4 groups comprising of the control group, the EMF group, the glycyrrhizic acid group and the EMF and lycyrrhizic acid group. Results showed that individually, the treatments inhibited the angiogenesis but the combination decreased the effectivity of blood vessel formation.
