Our Summary

PEMF therapy proved to be effective in tissue inflammation reduction. This study intends to evaluate the effects of PEMF therapy on prostate volume in benign prostatic hyperplasia. Findings indicate that after 28 days, reduction in prostate volume was apparent and there was an improvement in symptoms within a short amount of time. It is important to note as well that no effects in sexual function or gonadal hormones where recorded.
