Our Summary

A minimum of 10 hours a day PEMF treatment is the current protocol for bone repair and fracture healing. This study focuses on lessening PEMF treatment to 3 minute per day while maintaining the effectiveness using single-pulsed electromagnetic field (SPEMF). Results show that SPEMF speeds up bone repair and cell growth. This suggests that SPEMF can be used to treat early stages of osteonecrosis as well as fractures.
