Our Summary

The purpose of this study is to analyze the cost-effectiveness of PEMF treatment in treating cute scaphoid fractures compared to standard health care. A total of 102 patients were randomly divided into the PEMF group and a placebo standard health care group. Based on quality-adjusted life year (QALY), results showed that PEMF is not cost-effective compared to standard health care.
