Our Summary

This study focuses on the viability and function of human osteoclasts and osteoblasts having undergone PEMF exposure. Using Somagen device with extremely low frequency PEMF, results show that there was viability improvement on osteoblasts while no effects were recorded for osteoclasts. In conclusion, this supports that ELF-PEMF could be a recommended treatment for bone formation and osteoporosis.
