Our Summary

Vitamin E is an antioxidant that can inhibit lipid peroxidation (LPO) process while EMF are known to deteriorate defense from free radicals leading to oxidative stress (OS). This study aims to evaluate the effects of Vitamin E and EMF on OS and LPO. The rats were exposed to 3 MT intensity EMF for 50 days. Results confirm that EMF stimulated OS and that Vitamin E treatment prevented LPO and OS.
