Our Summary

Previous studies showed that PEMF calcium stimulation in chondrogenesis. This study now evaluates the effect of PEMF on chondrogenic differentiation in mesenchymal stem cells (MSC). Optimal chondrogenic outcome happened on within 10 minutes of 2 mT intensity exposure. Results suggest that PEMF treatment is effective on chondrogenic differentiation in MSC.
