This study evaluates the effectiveness of PEMF in treatment of tumor necrosis factor as well as changes in nucleus pulposus cell expression. Cultured rat nucleus pulposus cells were exposed to low frequency PEMF. PEMF may restrain secretion of IL-1? and TNF-? preventing their development.
