Our Summary

To determine the effects of EMF on oxidative stress in rat central nervous system (CNS) is the objective of this study. A total of 20 male rats were divided into 2 groups comprising of a sham control group and a EMF group. The EMF group was exposed to 50 Hz frequency and 4.3 pT intensity EMF 22 hours a day for 4 weeks. Results showed that there were no significant effects on oxidative stress for the rats exposed to EMF compared to the sham group.
