Our Summary

The rationale of this study is to investigate the effects of PEMF and mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) on tendon repair. A total of 15 fresh human umbilical cord from healthy pregnancies were cultured and used in this experiment. Results confirm that prolonged PEMF exposed had the most tenogenic markers expression which may improve tendon repair healing.
