Our Summary

The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of extremely low frequency electromagnetic field (ELF-EMF) and restraint stress (RS) on lipid profile and lipid peroxidation on rat brain. A total of 24 rats were divided into 4 groups consisting of the control group, RS group, ELF-EMF group and RS & ELF-EMF group. Results suggest that ELF-EMF had similar effects to physiological stress on brain lipid profile.
