Our Summary

The use of bipolar pulsed electromagnetic stimulation (T-PEMF) has exhibited beneficial advantages in the reduction of nerve abnormalities, induction of nerve regeneration and enhancement of microcirculation. This review highlights the effects of T-PEMF on a 62 year old patient with idiopathic Parkinson’s disease. The treatment lasted at 30 minutes per day for 8 weeks with two 1 week breaks. It was evident that the patient improved motor function and reduction of tingling, fatigue and muscle cramps. Results also show that his handwriting, previously impossible to read, improved for about 3 months post treatment.
