Our Summary

To investigate the effects of the combination of sinusoidal EMF (SEMF) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) on osteogenic and vasculogenic differentiation is the objective of this study. Results show that the combination of SEMF and VEGF improved protein expression level of osteo blast and mRNA expression level of endothelial cell. The treatment also stimulated angiogenic differentiation of rat bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells indicating potential for bone regeneration therapy.
