Our Summary
Previous studies showed the genotoxicity induced by EMF on human normal and cancer cells. This study now aims to evaluate that effects of uniform EMF on the said cells. Human normal and cancer cells were exposed to single and repetitive 60 Hz frequency and 6 mT intensity EMF. Results suggest that there was a reduction of intracellular reactive oxygen species levels indicating uniform extremely low frequency EMF stimulates human cell proliferation.
