Our Summary
Previous studies showed the effects of PEMF on bone regeneration. This study now aims to investigate if the efficacy can be improved by repetitive exposure to PEMF as well as its effect on osteoclasts. Results should that treatment by gradually increasing frequency showed the best efficacy and that 26 Hz frequency improved bone formation while 16 Hz frequency improved bone remodeling.
