Our Summary
Due to previous studies suggesting PEMF induces the increase of nitric oxide (NO), this study aims to evaluate effects of PEMF on tissue oxygenation and micro-vascular perfusion. Results show that PEMF stimulated cerebral arteriolar dilation which triggers tissue oxygenation the increase in micro-vascular blood flow. This suggests the effectivity of PEMF on ischemic brain injury.
