Our Summary
This study aims to determine the beneficial effects of PEMF on postnatal neovascularization. Rat subjects were exposed to 30 Hz frequency and 5 mT intensity PEMF. Results show significant improvement in wound healing and postnatal neovascularization while lessening the prevalence of gangrene. To conclude, patients with critical limb ischemia should be treated with PEMF.
