Our Summary
Millions of men and women have chronic pelvic pain known as interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome with no known cause. Many of whom have been searching for a cure with most opting for surgical procedures with higher risk of side effects. With PEMF being a non-invasive therapeutic treatment for pain, inflammation and the likes, this study focuses on the effects of this therapy on chronic pain management. Findings suggest that there was a decrease in pelvic pain, burning bladder sensation and other nonpelvic pain felt by the patient.
