Our Summary
Because of the lower efficacy of antidepressant treatment for treatment-resistant depression, this study now aims to find new treatments in the form of transcranial pulsed electromagnetic field (T-PEMF). 58 patients with moderate to severe depression were the participants of this study. Results suggest that T-PEMF could be an alternative treatment for treatment-resistant depression.
